I'm answering this from the Eaton's mini commune, in our
relationship to SR. First, Bobby Eaton spent almost a
year at SR in the late 60's. He wrote glowing reports of
his life there. Then in Feb-71, you SR'ers gave Lefty
shelter, food and great company, while he was looking for
a place to buy for his family and friends. We bought
Eaton Acres from Mike Buley, where most of us (me, Bobby,
Mike, Patrick and Mij still live here. Thank goodness,
we do know how to live communily.
But to get back to the question of how SRers
related to other communes. From the very first day
there were people from SR, wanting to know what we
needed--gave us lots of biscuits for our woodstove.
We had such great chemistry together from the beginning.
It does my heart good just thinking about it. Anyway,
Sunnyridge will always be the tops in communes. I
certainly cherish the whole experience. Rita
