This is what I wrote in Oct. 1988:

Off hand I would say we were at Sunnyridge for 4 years. You have to understand however, that time and events were hard to pinpoint since we had virtually no callendars, clocks, or watches. This was part of the timelessness of Sunnyridge. Things like this were kind of rejected as 'establishment' or something. Add to this the fact that we were stoned half the time and that I myself had a tendency anyway to live 'here and now', and you may understand how I might place certain events at Sunnyridge out of sequence and think things that were only a few weeks duration seemed like months. Anyway, I believe we took maybe one side trip to New York and one (myself) to California.
