This picture is in the collection of photos from the album, the one I brought to the reunion. Lot's more pictures in the album that do not appear on the website. I'll see if there are any more worth posting, but some are poor quality and some are, well..boring.

hey teddy, this is a most excellent pic; first spring; suzette, joanne, L.&B., peter, betty, ron g.,tom s. pat matty, philip, leah and....i think thats bob hale with, not rita, his other lady. the couple next to peter and the other girl...?????

to early for alice....we have to chronologicaly establish the time we served in sunnyridge...do a tree with who is with whom and dates of major events...like the white horse...the thanksgiving party at the new lodge...the grinding wheel...the bust...the governor's people checking us out...officer metcalf...the birth of jacob rothenberg...and many other happenings that we hardly remember...funny incidents...we have to write a book together....passions in the siskiu hills...

I don't think this is the first spring ron, since elizabeth (betty) is not pregnant, it must be after August 1969, when Melina was born. She was pregnant when I arrived. I think my parent came to visit in the fall of 1969, so that would be my guess for the timing. I don't think it's bob hale in the picture - are you looking at the man in the top left? I think his name was john, not sure, but pretty sure it's not Bob.

What was that dogs name? I remember Lerky was the cat, but I forgot the dogs name. Was it something like Kiva?

The only dog's name I remember was "three-legged Ananda". At one point we were overrun with dogs.Me and Patty M took on the responsibility of dealing with the problem. I don't really feel like talking beyond that point, however. Suffice to say, if I were writing a book, this chapter would be called, "the season of death".
