Jimmy and I were up from the Bay Area to check out the harvest. Jackie was living at the Claim. Late summer '76. That coming Thanksgiving, I wore that buckskin jacket to The Last Waltz, the Band's farewell concert. If you see Martin Scorsese's film of it, I believe you can spot the jacket in the shot at the beginning that pans acroos a line of people waiting to get in. Jimmy and I were eating psilocybe semillanceatas for the concert; there were stars on the ceiling. I was looking about ten feet down to a Panama hat that turned out to be on Bob Dylan's head....J and J were no doubt warm from their night together; I had not yet had my morning coffee.....

Where is Jacky now? Such a truly in-the-flow being, full of joy and peace.
