UNBELIEVABLE!~! Where did you find this document? Fantastic!
By all means post it on the History page. I wish I had the original deed to me and Larry from the old guy we bought it from. Someday when I have nothing else to do I might find it at the Josephine County Clerk's office in Grants's Pass. $750 changed hands... Of course you know that for a while I actually had a lawyer friend of mine represent me and the others for a while and we delayed the government's take over for quite a while. Of course, at this time I was in Italy and dealing with Sunnyridge, particularly since no one I knew was even there anymore, was not high on the list of priorities...

Lots of "whiles" in the previous Paragraph! sorry. Sometime long before this notice the BLM sent a surveyor to the property to conduct a survey to see whether there was sufficient gold on the claim to warrant a reasonably prudent man investing his time etc. It was amusing going around the properrtty with him while he took samples. i remember him as being fairly young, extremely straight, very professional yet very nice and approachable. I recall asking him to take samples in places where he, being an expert, would think that gold would most likely be found. He got a kick out of that and told me he would do just that.
I regaled him with stories of the human, psychological, spiritual gold we had mined at Sunnyridge...we gave him coffee from the stove in the kitchen... still the assay results were negative... I would love to hear him tell the story of his visit to us...
