I have no idea what I was daydreaming about here.
Sunnyridge was to the left, up a driveway. The beloved swimming hole ( Althouse Creek) was down the hill on the right.

I don't really know, jim.
Probably some psychic phenomenon cought on film.
Or maybe it was actually a pole (a de-barked tree from the area) that was place across the road to block entry.
But that does not make sense...it was the main road up there.

jim, Ted...... the thingy thru th' nek is the gate @ the botom of the driveway that Jim "Bongo" Bonjernoor (2nd generation SR'r) & myself constructed/installed to keep unwanted traffic from access to upper Blind Sam Gulch. We were mining and didn't want company..... After the razeing of SR, there was actual mining taking place on occasion. After all, the Sunnyridge Mining claim/commune was a mining claim. Hehehe!
